Wendigos
In a drought-ravaged village, a desperate man conducts a forbidden ritual deep in the autumn woods, summoning a Wendigo to bring rain and save his people. As leaves fall from the sacred plant, the creature appears and hunts him relentlessly. The pursuit ends when the plant withers — the Wendigo vanishes, leaving the man alive but forever haunted.
